WP3: Strengthening the participation of CA/SC&MO in FP7

Objectives 

To increase the participation of research teams and institutions from CA/SC&MO through targeted actions, as follows:

• Implementation of a grant scheme for researchers to attend Brokerage events and other similar activities related to FP7, in EU MS/AC.
• To acquire a deeper knowledge from participations of research teams from the target regions in FP6 and FP7 projects.
• To organize Info Days in KG, TJ, TM., including the necessary preparatory/support work and to increase the participation from CA/SC&MO in similar activities under the IncoNet EECA project.

Tasks and Deliverables

Task 3.1 Grants for participation in Brokerage events in EU

Del. 3.1.a: Guidelines for the implementation of the Grant scheme (Selection of Themes and target Brokerage events, application forms, evaluation procedure, etc.).
Del. 3.1.b: Assessment reports on the implementation of the Grant scheme (statistics, observed problems, etc.).

Task 3.2 Insight from successful participations of teams (incl. SMEs) from CA/SC&MO in FP6 and FP7 projects

Del. 3.2.a: Report ‘Insight from successful participations in FP6 and FP7’.

Task 3.3 Additional Info Days in KG, TJ, TM

Del. 3.3.a: Reports from the Info Days in the targeted countries.

Task 3.4 Increased participation from KG, TJ, TM in the activities of IncoNet EECA

Del. 3.4.a: Reports on the support of participation of policy makers and scientists in activities of IncoNet EECA.
